Sarah Palin 2-1 Over All Candidates In HotAir July 4th Pres Poll

With over 6000 ballots cast, we have results. Monthly Presidential chart is below. Then I’ll go into some of the hard realities facing Hot Air’s front runner.
Sarah Palin has returned to almost her highest vote take since the survey began, at 36.94% of the vote. Michele Bachmann and Rick Perry run closely together, coming in second (19.95%) and third (18.91%) respectively. Herman Cain takes fourth at 6.68%, continuing his downward movement since his May highs. Mitt Romney takes fifth, at 6.3%.

Sarah Palin Will Announce Her Candidacy On Feb 6th 2011 In Tampico, Illinois

Sarah Palin will announce her candidacy for President in Tampico, Illinois (or maybe Dixon or Eureka) on February 6, 2011, Dutch Reagan's 100th birthday. That is not just my prediction/fantasy; others thought the same after her Wednesday address in Chicagoland's suburban Rosemont, where she unabashedly took charge of the then erupting Highland Park school debacle.
Palin fired up the Chicago crowd, citing Ronald Reagan as a driving influence in her life and political career. […]
A Palin announcement on the Gipper's 100th birthday would be that day's Alaska-icing on the Conservative cake. Statues of Ronald (Dutch) Reagan will be unveiled in London, U.K., and in Tampico, Ill. The Tampico statue will be erected in Reagan Park across from Dutch's Diner (best pies in the Midwest). Lowell Park will install a replica of Dutch's lifeguard stand/chair where teen-aged Ronald Reagan saved 77 lives as the lifeguard on the Rock River's right bank, notching his log-chair for each save. Eureka College, Reagan's alma mater, will conduct a program reflecting on his Midwestern roots and values.
The Gipper's big 100th birthday falls on Super Bowl Sunday, 2/6/11! Parties everywhere! What better day for Sarah to announce her candidacy!

Sarah Palin 100% Presidential & Ready, Where is Mitt & His RomneyCare?

Despite all the fundraising Governor Palin has done for conservative candidates and causes, there are still those on our own side pushing the meme that while she's dead right on all the issues, she's somehow not ready yet to run for president; that she's not doing enough or saying enough to be a considered a presidential candidate. One prominent Republican strategist recently claimed she hasn't yet "transitioned herself into a presidential candidate". What the hell does that mean? What does she need to do to make that transition? She's the only one out there taking the fight to Obama. If not for her, cap and tax and health care both would have passed last summer and Obama wouldn't have walked back his idiotic idea to change 60 years of successful nuclear deterrence strategy.
First, where was their favorite candidate, Mitt Romney, in the fight against ObamaCare? Oh yeah, there's this. I guess maybe it would have been better for Romney if Ted Kennedy wasn't the first person he consulted when crafting RomneyCare. But beyond Mitt Romney, where were any of the other would-be presidential candidates when we needed someone to take on Obama and inform the country about what was at stake with ObamaCare or, for that matter, cap and trade? While Governor Palin has been leading the fight against Obama, Mitt Romney hides in the shadows doing really important "insider stuff" like sending a front group, Evangelicals For Mitt, to purchase votes in a straw poll. (Evangelicals For Mitt? Hmmmm.) When will Romney appear at a Tea Party? Or Pawlenty? Or even Newt, who just likes to "meet" with the Tea Party leaders. […]
Next, have these people read her Facebook Notes or the articles she's published in the Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, and National Review, among others? Have they actually listened to what she's said? She's been just as articulate as Mitch Daniels (George Will's latest flavor of the month). She's made the same points as Krauthammer. How is she uninformed or unread? I can understand people not looking at her as a presidential candidate because they're not sure if she's running, but that's not all that's going on here. In my opinion this is the residual effects of class-ism and, to some extent, sexism. It's pretty sad to see so many people by default say, "I really love what she's saying and think she's totally right. But she can't be president." Why can't she? Because she's been so demonized by the other side? Well, if that's the reason then you're admitting that Alinsky style demonization really works. Great. Expect them to continue to do that to your leaders. Why should we allow our liberals and beltway elitists to pick our candidates? If we do, we might as well give up now and embrace our European socialist side.
Or perhaps these people think she can't be president because she doesn't look or act like one. Great. Keep on buying the narrative of what a president is supposed to be. Keep on electing your Ivy League betters because they've done such a bang up job representing you so far. […]

Karl Rove To Sarah Palin: Now Is The Time To Start Presidential Run

Former George W. Bush political adviser Karl Rove said Sunday that the political winds will change quite a bit, but that 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee, Sarah Palin, should get ready now, if she is planning for president to run in 2012.
"This is her year to get ready for the hot spotlight that will fall on her…I don’t know if she wants to, she certainly can, she did very well in the 63 days she was on the national stage," Rove said on NBC's "Meet the Press."
On the fate of the tea party movement, Rove said that a deep-pocketed figure like Ross Perot would be necessary to make the party a real threat in 2012.  But the movement has energized the left, right and independents to focus on government spending.
"They are going to exact their revenge this fall and it’s not going to be pretty for Democrats."
I would say Sarah Palin’s schedule indicates she has already started.

Sarah Palin: The Audacity Of Obama's Recycled Rhetoric No Longer Inspires Hope

While I don’t wish to speak too harshly about President Obama’s state of the union address, we live in challenging times that call for candor. I call them as I see them, and I hope my frank assessment will be taken as an honest effort to move this conversation forward.
Last night, the president spoke of the “credibility gap” between the public’s expectations of their leaders and what those leaders actually deliver. “Credibility gap” is a good way to describe the chasm between rhetoric and reality in the president’s address. The contradictions seemed endless.
He called for Democrats and Republicans to “work through our differences,” but last year he dismissed any notion of bipartisanship when he smugly told Republicans, “I won.”
He talked like a Washington “outsider,” but he runs Washington! He’s had everything any president could ask for – an overwhelming majority in Congress and a fawning press corps that feels tingles every time he speaks. There was nothing preventing him from pursuing “common sense” solutions all along. He didn’t pursue them because they weren’t his priorities, and he spent his speech blaming Republicans for the problems caused by his own policies.
He dared us to “let him know” if we have a better health care plan, but he refused to allow Republicans in on the negotiations or consider any ideas for real free market and patient-centered reforms. We’ve been “letting him know” our ideas for months from the town halls to the tea parties, but he isn’t interested in listening. Instead he keeps making the nonsensical claim that his massive trillion-dollar health care bill won’t increase the deficit.
Americans are suffering from job losses and lower wages, yet the president practically demanded applause when he mentioned tax cuts, as if allowing people to keep more of their own hard-earned money is an act of noblesse oblige. He claims that he cut taxes, but I must have missed that. I see his policies as paving the way for massive tax increases and inflation, which is the “hidden tax” that most hurts the poor and the elderly living on fixed incomes.
He condemned lobbyists, but his White House is filled with former lobbyists, and this has been a banner year for K Street with his stimulus bill, aka the Lobbyist’s Full Employment Act. He talked about a “deficit of trust” and the need to “do our work in the open,” but he chased away the C-SPAN cameras and cut deals with insurance industry lobbyists behind closed doors.
He spoke of doing what’s best for the next generation and not leaving our children with a “mountain of debt,” but under his watch this year, government spending is up by 22%, and his budget will triple our national debt.
He spoke of a spending freeze, but doesn’t he realize that each new program he’s proposing comes with a new price tag? A spending freeze is a nice idea, but it doesn’t address the root cause of the problem. We need a comprehensive examination of the role of government spending. The president’s deficit commission is little more than a bipartisan tax hike committee, lending political cover to raise taxes without seriously addressing the problem of spending.
He condemned bailouts, but he voted for them and then expanded and extended them. He praised the House’s financial reform bill, but where was Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae in that bill? He still hasn’t told us when we’ll be getting out of the auto and the mortgage industries. He praised small businesses, but he’s spent the past year as a friend to big corporations and their lobbyists, who always find a way to make government regulations work in their favor at the expense of their mom & pop competitors.
He praised the effectiveness of his stimulus bill, but then he called for another one – this time cleverly renamed a “jobs bill.” The first stimulus was sold to us as a jobs bill that would keep unemployment under 8%. We now have double digit unemployment with no end in sight. Why should we trust this new “jobs bill”?
He talked about “making tough decisions about opening new offshore areas for oil and gas development,” but apparently it’s still too tough for his Interior Secretary to move ahead with Virginia’s offshore oil and gas leases. If they’re dragging their feet on leases, how long will it take them to build “safe, clean nuclear power plants”? Meanwhile, he continued to emphasize “green jobs,” which require massive government subsidies for inefficient technologies that can’t survive on their own in the real world of the free market.
He spoke of supporting young girls in Afghanistan who want to go to school and young women in Iran who courageously protest in the streets, but where were his words of encouragement to the young girls of Afghanistan in his West Point speech? And where was his support for the young women of Iran when they were being gunned down in the streets of Tehran?
Despite speaking for over an hour, the president only spent 10% of his speech on foreign policy, and he left us with many unanswered questions. Does he still think trying the 9/11 terrorists in New York is a good idea? Does he still think closing Gitmo is a good idea? Does he still believe in Mirandizing terrorists after the Christmas bomber fiasco? Does he believe we’re in a war against terrorists, or does he think this is just a global crime spree? Does he understand that the first priority of our government is to keep our country safe?
In his address last night, the president once again revealed that there’s a fundamental disconnect between what the American people expect from their government, and what he wants to deliver. He’s still proposing failed top-down big government solutions to our problems. Instead of smaller, smarter government, he’s taken a government that was already too big and supersized it.
Real private sector jobs are created when taxes are low, investment is high, and people are free to go about their business without the heavy hand of government. The president thinks innovation comes from government subsidies. Common sense conservatives know innovation comes from unleashing the creative energy of American entrepreneurs.
Everything seems to be “unexpected” to this administration: unexpected job losses; unexpected housing numbers; unexpected political losses in Massachusetts, Virginia, and New Jersey. True leaders lead best when confronted with the unexpected. But instead of leading us, the president lectured us. He lectured Wall Street; he lectured Main Street; he lectured Congress; he even lectured our Supreme Court Justices.
He criticized politicians who “wage a perpetual campaign,” but he gave a campaign speech instead of a state of the union address. The campaign is over, and President Obama now has something that candidate Obama never had: an actual track record in office. We now can see the failed policies behind the flowery words. If Americans feel as cynical as the president suggests, perhaps it’s because the audacity of his recycled rhetoric no longer inspires hope.
Real leadership requires results. Real hope lies in the ingenuity, generosity, and boundless courage of the American people whose voices are still not being heard in Washington.

The Left: I Want From 2012 Is For Obama To Be Humiliated With President Palin

Texas4Palin posted a interesting piece from OpEdNews.com, by x-Obama loving David Michael Green: Now I'm Really Getting Pissed Off

Hofstra Professor Green goes off on Obama in one of the harshest rants yet.  Plus he seems to be warming to the idea of a Palin Presidency!  But unfortunately those that voted for the disaster Obama are clearly small minded & quite gullible. You would have to be to fall for the Hopey-Change garbage.  So when they speak I take it with a grain-of-salt or I simply apply the opposite.

Like any good progressive, I've gone from admiration to hope to disappointment to anger when it comes to this president. Now I'm fast getting to rage.

How much rage? I find myself thinking that the thing I want most from the 2010 elections is for his party to get absolutely clobbered, even if that means a repeat of 1994. And that what I most want from 2012 is for him to be utterly humiliated, even if that means President Palin at the helm. That much rage.

[...]

I can't even begin to describe how insulting Obama conducting a "jobs summit" is to me, or what an unbelievably ham-fisted piece of public relations that was for the White House, which is increasingly showing itself not just to be sickeningly regressive, but also fully inept. I think I speak for a whole lot of Americans when I say that, one year into his stewardship over a destroyed economy that was actually atomizing for at least six months before inauguration day, I don't want my president sitting around a table, running a dog-and-pony show, pretending to kick around ideas on how to generate jobs. I wanted him to have those ideas, himself, before he was inaugurated. I wanted those to be real ideas, that produce real jobs for real Americans who are really hurting. I wanted that to be, and still be, the be-all and end-all of his presidency, not some distant fourth-place priority, behind healthcare and the White House dog selection process. And, especially not some fourth-place priority behind jive healthcare reform.

[...]

Is he happy just to be a one-term president just to say he's been there and done that, and then sell some more books even if he is reviled as one of the worst in history?

Maybe. But what about the rest of us? The rest of us, indeed. It's been quite some time since anyone in the White House ever cared about that sorry pack of rabble.

Obama looked like he could've been something different. He ain't.  So this is it, folks.  Change you can believe in? More like bullshit you can take a bath in, if you ask me.

Gov Pawlenty: Sarah Palin Is More Qualified To Be President Than Obama

Our good freinds at Texas4Palin posted a nice interview Governor Tim Pawlenty gave to Newsweak:

Did McCain explain to you why he picked her?
The conversation was pretty brief. I just think he felt he had to do something maybe a little different than what would have been the traditional approach. And I think he felt good about his decision.

Do you think Palin is qualified to be president?
She is easily as qualified as Barack Obama. I would argue she's more qualified in terms of leadership, experience, management, and supervision—actually running something. She was a mayor, head of an energy commission, and governor.  Sarah Palin is also the owner of two successful small business.

Did she help or hurt the ticket?
My view is that she helped him because she energized the campaign. She brought a fresh and dynamic perspective that I think complemented his strengths really well. I think she helped. I know there are some pollsters who take issue with that.

Also, the National Journal.com reported on the same interview:

MN Gov. Tim Pawlenty (R) says the media is obsessed with ex-AK Gov. Sarah Palin (R), and that her celebrity makes her a front-runner for the WH'12 sweepstakes.   Pawlenty called his potential rival a "political rock star," and said that standing gives Palin a platform from which she could run.

"We live in a society in which being familiar, being well known, gives you a platform. She certainly has that. The Democrats have all kinds of characters who are interesting, bold, and dramatic. On our side, you guys are obsessed with Palin," Pawlenty said.

He added, handicapping the eventual field: "Is Mitt Romney running? I think he would clearly be the frontrunner, he and Palin. And there is Mike Huckabee, of course, and any number of people could emerge out of Congress."

10 Reasons Why I CANNOT Support Sarah Palin For President

John Kauffman of Lewistown, PA wrote a letter to The Editor of The Lewistown Sentinel:

1. She is a woman and we've never had a woman president! Of course, before our current president, we've never had a black president either; but that's different.

2. She's pro-abortion, and even late-term abortion! No, wait - I believe that's someone currently in the office who holds those views.

3. Does she have something to hide? I wonder, since we can't seem to find out anything about her grades and her accomplishments while attending college! Oh boy, I'm wrong again! I believe that's also someone currently in office that I'm thinking about.

4. She doesn't have the background or experience necessary for the job. She wasn't tutored in politics by the Chicago machine, and she certainly can't organize like someone who can cut their teeth as a community organizer and lawyer for A.C.O.R.N.

5. She's not qualified. She's only been a state governor, not a community organizer, or a first-term senator with no record except for possibly voting present on key issues.

6. Concerning Sarah as governor, look how she screwed up Alaska: She balanced the budget, lowered taxes and even gave Alaskans back some of their own money. Now what kind of example is that to set for the rest of our country?

7. Without her teleprompter, she can't give a decent speech, and can even get her facts twisted by going it alone. Remember when she forgot how many states are in our union? Darn, I did it again. I keep getting her confused with someone currently in office.

8. She's said to be an average American woman, and a once-married loving housewife and devoted mother, who really wants the best for all peoples of our nation. Now who in the this world would believe that there is someone like that who would actually run for higher office? I certainly don't.

9. She hunts, fishes, rides snowmobile and basically seems to love nature and care about the environment. Sounds like a good old country girl to me. I wonder if this is true, because we all know that most politicians claim to be good old country people at heart, but really aren't. Remember John Kerry pretending to be a duck hunter?

10. She also lies; she claims to be an advocate for women, for special needs children, for the environment, for national security and the list of American pie values goes on and on.  Now to be perfectly honest, I, at this moment, can't come up with anything that she has lied about, but I'm sure there must be something? How do I know that she must be lying about her basic principles? Because women know women best, and in this case, they must know something that isn't apparent about her; because while it would seem that she was the perfect vice presidential candidate, she is yet to be supported by one women's organization. Why? Again, it is hard to understand, since we know it couldn't be because she is an attractive woman or that she is not a liberal.

11. I lied! I said 10 reasons, but as you can see, there are actually 11, and the 11th reason I fear is the real reason. I believe that at the rate power is being consolidated and socialism is being embraced (with the help of both parties), that in essence, we only have one party. That being said, there may not even be an election in 2012, but if there is, I'm sure there is no place on the ballot for Sarah Palin.

Chapter 4 Of Sarah Palin’s Going Rogue: An American Life

Going Rogue: An American Life by Sarah Palin Chapter Four; Section 8, pages 255-257

By the third week in September, a “Free Sarah” campaign was under way and the press at large was growing increasingly critical of the McCain camp’s decision to keep me, my family and friends back home, and my governor’s staff all bottled up. Meanwhile, the question of which news outlet would land the first interview was a big deal, as it always is with a major party candidate.

From the beginning, Nicolle [Wallace] pushed for Katie Couric and the CBS Evening News. The campaign’s general strategy involved coming out with a network anchor, someone they felt had treated John well on the trail thus far. My suggestion was that we be consistent with that strategy and start talking to outlets like FOX and the Wall Street Journal. I really didn’t have a say in which press I was going to talk to, but for some reason Nicolle seemed compelled to get me on the Katie bandwagon.

“Katie really likes you,” she said to me one day. “she’s a working mom and admires you as a working mom. She has teenage daughter like you. She just relates to you,” Nicolle said. “believe me, I know her very well. I’ve worked with her.” Nicolle had left her gig at CBS just a few months earlier to hook up with the McCain campaign. I had to trust her experience, as she had dealt with national politics more than I had. But something always struck me as peculiar about the way she recalled her days in the White House, when she was speaking on behalf of President George W. Bush. She didn't have much to say that was positive about her former boss or the job in general. Whenever I wanted to give a shout-out to the White House’s homeland security efforts after 9/11, we were told we couldn’t do it. I didn’t know if that was Nicolle’s call.

Nicolle went on to explain that Katie really needed a career boost. “She just has such low self-esteem,” Nicolle said. She added that Katie was going through a tough time. “She just feels she can’t trust anybody.”

I was thinking, And this has to do with John McCain’s campaign how?

Nicolle said. “She wants you to like her.”

Hearing all that, I almost started to feel sorry for her. Katie had tried to make a bold move from lively morning gal to serious anchor, but the new assignment wasn’t going very well.

“You know what? We’ll schedule a segment with her,” Nicolle said. “If it doesn’t go well, if there’s no chemistry, we won’t do any others.”
Meanwhile, the media blackout continued. It got so bad that a couple of times I had a friend in Anchorage track down phone numbers for me, and then I snuck in calls to folks like Rush Limbaugh, Laura Ingraham, Sean Hannity and someone I thought was Larry Kudlow but turned out to be Neil Cavuto’s producer. I had a friend call Bill O’Reilly after I was inundated with supporters in Alaska asking why the campaign was “ignoring” his one-air requests for a McCain campaign interview. I had another friend scrambling to find Mark Levin’s number. Aboard the campaign plane I was within twenty-five feet of reporters for hours on end. Headquarters’ strategy was that I should not go to the back of the aircraft and talk to the press. At first this was subtle, but as the campaign wore on, Tracey or Tucker would call headquarters to request permission, and someone in DC would respond, “No! Absolutely not- block her if she tries to go back.”

Sarah Palin: Response to Joe Biden's Comments Today About My Position On Energy Independence

As the vice president knows, I have always advocated an all-of-the-above approach to American energy independence. Among other things, my alternative energy goal for Alaska sits at 50 percent because Alaska reached more than 20 percent during my term in office. The Obama-Biden administration, on the other hand, recently announced a renewable goal of only 25 percent. However, domestic drilling should remain a top priority in order to meet America’s consumption and security needs.

The vice president’s extreme opposition to domestic energy development goes all the way back to 1973 when he opposed the Alaska pipeline bill. As Ann Coulter pointed out, “Biden cast one of only five votes against the pipeline that has produced more than 15 billion barrels of oil, supplied nearly 20 percent of this nation’s oil, created tens of thousands of jobs, added hundreds of billions of dollars to the U.S. economy and reduced money transfers to the nation’s enemies by about the same amount.”

This nonsensical opposition to American domestic energy development continues to this day. Apparently the Obama-Biden administration only approves of offshore drilling in Brazil, where it will provide security and jobs for Brazilians. This election is about American security and American jobs.

There’s one way to tell Vice President Biden that we’re tired of folks in Washington distorting our message and hampering our nation’s progress: Hoffman, Baby, Hoffman!

Biden v. Palin -- The Re-Match ABC News’ Rick Klein reports:
Campaigning in an upstate New York congressional district, Vice President Joe Biden today attacked his one-time opponent, Sarah Palin, who has led a succession of big-name Republicans in backing the candidacy of the Conservative Party nominee.
Slow Joe's Comment: "Sarah Palin thinks the answer to energy is ‘Drill, baby, drill,' " Biden said at a rally this afternoon. Then he leaned in to the microphone: "It's a lot more complicated, Sarah."

Sarah Palin: Real Health Care Reform Americans Need & Want

The American people have spoken. They oppose government-run health care. Republicans are on the side of the American people.
What Americans want are common-sense, responsible solutions that address the rising cost of health care and other major problems. In the national Republican address on Saturday, October 31, 2009, House Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH) discussed Republicans’ plan for common-sense health care reform our nation can afford.  Boehner’s address emphasized four common-sense reforms that will lower health care costs and expand access to quality care without a government takeover of our nation’s health care system that kills jobs, raises taxes on small businesses, or cuts Medicare for seniors:

▪ Number  1: let families and businesses buy health insurance across state lines.
▪ Number 2: allow individuals, small businesses, and trade associations to pool together and acquire health insurance at lower prices, the same way large corporations and labor unions do.
▪ Number 3: give states the tools to create their own innovative reforms that lower health care costs.
▪ Number 4: end junk lawsuits that contribute to higher health care costs by increasing the number of tests and procedures that physicians sometimes order not because they think it's good medicine, but because they are afraid of being sued.

For the full text of Congressmen Boehner’s address, click HERE. For more information about these and some of the other common-sense health care reforms proposed by Republicans, please visit the links below.  The Republican health care substitute to be offered during floor debate on Speaker Pelosi's government takeover of health care will incorporate all or part of the following bills:

▪ Empowering Patients First Act  (Republican Study Committee  Health Care Reform Bill, introduced July 30, 2009)
▪ Improving Health Care for All Americans Act (Shadegg Health Care Reform Bill, introduced July 14, 2009)
▪ Medical Rights & Reform Act   (Kirk-Dent Health Care  Reform Bill, introduced June 16, 2009)
▪ Help Efficient, Accessible, Low-cost, Timely Healthcare (HEALTH) Act   (Gingrey medical liability reform bill, introduced June 6, 2009)
▪ Small Business Health Fairness Act of 2009  (Johnson small business health plans bill, introduced May 21, 2009)
▪ Improved Employee Access to Health Insurance Act of 2009  (Deal auto-enrollment bill, introduced October 15, 2009)
▪ Health Insurance Access for Young Workers and College Students Act of 2009  (Blunt bill to improve health insurance coverage of dependents, introduced October 21, 2009)

- Sarah Palin

As a doctor I have a few recommendations for reform:
 ▪ Number  1: America has a severe shortage of doctors, mainly family doctors and pediatricians. To resolve this problem the United States Medical Licensing Board needs to incorporate a new and more specialized exam for family doctors and pediatricians, like we have in Puerto Rico. This has increased the amount of doctors in the PR and it is  the only area of the United States that does NOT have a shortage of doctors.
 ▪ Number  2: Once all the recommended reforms have been incorporated I believe Health Care can and should be $50 a month or $600 a year.   This would provide basic coverage, no one can be denied, if you can pay you are covered and only private insurers.  This can happen with increased competition and government subsidies for only 2 years.

Sarah Palin: TUNE IN TOMORROW HEALTH CARE REFORM PLAN THAT WILL BE THE GAME CHANGER

Mark my words - tomorrow is the game changer! Tune in to hear common sense solutions that bury the false accusations that conscientious members of Congress have no solutions to meet America's health care challenges.

If you're like me, shaking your head wondering why all the miscommunication between Washington and the American people who have been saying, "Please hear what we're saying about our desire for health care reform," then tomorrow will be a refreshing time of clarity for all.

All Americans, and especially colleagues of House Republican Leader John Boehner: please listen to tomorrow's weekly GOP national address. Rep. Boehner will highlight a common sense alternative to Speaker Pelosi's 1,990-page government takeover of health care. I urge you to watch for it. For a preview, go to: http://HealthCare.GOP.gov

You'll hear solutions. You'll hear of real choices based on America's proven free-market principles. You'll know once and for all what the GOP and Independents have been saying all along about alternatives to another big government take over. After tomorrow, you'll know that accusations against the GOP and Independents for not providing solutions are false. Those claims are bogus. There are alternatives. Tune in to Rep. Boehner's address tomorrow to hear them.

I look forward to the game changer!

DNC Communists: Attack Sarah Palin On Facebook

What a bunch of Commie scum-bags.  The DNC is actually asking supporters to attack private citizen Sarah Palin on Facebook.  My suggestion is to join Sarah Palin on Facebook and get her to a million supporters.  She is presently at 952,744.

These delusional communists actually want all of us to believe that socializing our health care system will add ZERO to the defict and even lower cost while adding  30-40 million legal and illegal.  What I expect from our elected officials is very simple:  Protect us from this dangerous federal encroachment in our lives.  Back us in a corner and we will revolt!  I see this as a sign of encouragement.
They called out Fox News and their ratings are through the roof making them the most powerful  and trusted news organization in the world.  This should propel Sarah Palin to new heights and truly make her the cure for the disaster Obama.  All Governor Palin needs to do is campaign on this premise: Reverse everything the disaster Obama and his communists sidekicks in congress have done.
Below is the e-mail the DNC executive director Jen O'Malley Dillon sent:
Subject: Sarah Palin Lies
Friend --
A lot of folks use Facebook to stay in touch with friends and family. For Sarah Palin, it's a great way to spread lies about health insurance reform.  A few months back, Palin took to Facebook to declare that health reform would create "death panels," and drive private insurers out of business -- and nonpartisan factcheck sites and the independent Congressional Budget Office debunked those lies.

But that didn't stop Sarah Palin. She's back with a new Facebook note claiming that reform will raise costs on families and drive up deficits. Unfortunately for her, even the conservative "Tax Foundation" says those claims are false.  So, this week, we're calling out Sarah Palin and taking to Facebook to debunk her lies on the very same pages she's using to spread them.
Call 'em out: Sarah Palin. Watch the video, make a call, spread the word on Facebook:  www.deocrates.org/CallOutPalin  We've put together a short Facebook note cataloging just some of Sarah Palin's many distortions and the facts that prove her wrong. But we need your help to "share" the note and make sure she doesn't get away with her outrageous lies.
If Sarah Palin wants to spread lies on Facebook, we'll call her out in the very same place. And when thousands of folks share our note and expose her lies, it will be clear that those who lie about reform will be held accountable -- no matter where they spread their misinformation. The more we push back with the truth, the more Sarah Palin and others like her will have to think twice before they promote lies, and the less they'll be able to derail progress.
Even if you don't have a Facebook account, you can still help us call out Sarah Palin. Visit Call 'em Out: Sarah Palin to watch our video detailing her lies and to call Palin's political organization and say, "stop lying."
Rising health care costs are crushing American families and squeezing small businesses. Reform will reign in costs and cut the deficit in the long run -- that's why it's so important, and why Sarah Palin's lies are so malicious.
We're not letting it stand. We're calling Sarah Palin out:  www.deocrates.org/CallOutPalin
Keep up the fight (fellow communists),
Jen

Palin Endorses Hoffman = Huge Donation Increase

Ed Morrissey, of Hotair.com, has just reported Doug Hoffman’s campaign is having a huge influx of donations within hours of her Facebook posting. Governor Palin made the post at 8:35 pm and in less then 10 hours his campaign contributions have nearly doubled. Funny how the left keeps screaming she is irrelevant.

Just how effective has Sarah Palin’s intervention in the NY23 special election been?  Douglas Hoffman, the Conservative Party candidate that got Palin’s endorsement, raised $116,000 in a single day, according to a source within the campaign.  The source told me to refer back to Chris Cillizza’s coverage of the race at the Washington Post blog The Fix, which noted that Hoffman had raised $210,000 … over the course of a week.

Stacy McCain confirmed this with another source in the campaign.  He has a few updates as well on Democratic fundraising in the contest.

If nothing else, this confirms the power that Palin has with the conservative base.  She can raise money hand over fist, even with some considerable negatives with other constituencies.  If Hoffman winds up winning this election, Palin will become a very popular woman in the 2010 campaign, especially in Blue Dog Democrat districts where conservatives have grown appalled by the direction of a Democratic Congress.  Even if he doesn’t, this has been an impressive demonstration of influence and power.
