Sarah Palin: TUNE IN TOMORROW HEALTH CARE REFORM PLAN THAT WILL BE THE GAME CHANGER

Mark my words - tomorrow is the game changer! Tune in to hear common sense solutions that bury the false accusations that conscientious members of Congress have no solutions to meet America's health care challenges.

If you're like me, shaking your head wondering why all the miscommunication between Washington and the American people who have been saying, "Please hear what we're saying about our desire for health care reform," then tomorrow will be a refreshing time of clarity for all.

All Americans, and especially colleagues of House Republican Leader John Boehner: please listen to tomorrow's weekly GOP national address. Rep. Boehner will highlight a common sense alternative to Speaker Pelosi's 1,990-page government takeover of health care. I urge you to watch for it. For a preview, go to: http://HealthCare.GOP.gov

You'll hear solutions. You'll hear of real choices based on America's proven free-market principles. You'll know once and for all what the GOP and Independents have been saying all along about alternatives to another big government take over. After tomorrow, you'll know that accusations against the GOP and Independents for not providing solutions are false. Those claims are bogus. There are alternatives. Tune in to Rep. Boehner's address tomorrow to hear them.

I look forward to the game changer!

DNC Communists: Attack Sarah Palin On Facebook

What a bunch of Commie scum-bags.  The DNC is actually asking supporters to attack private citizen Sarah Palin on Facebook.  My suggestion is to join Sarah Palin on Facebook and get her to a million supporters.  She is presently at 952,744.

These delusional communists actually want all of us to believe that socializing our health care system will add ZERO to the defict and even lower cost while adding  30-40 million legal and illegal.  What I expect from our elected officials is very simple:  Protect us from this dangerous federal encroachment in our lives.  Back us in a corner and we will revolt!  I see this as a sign of encouragement.
They called out Fox News and their ratings are through the roof making them the most powerful  and trusted news organization in the world.  This should propel Sarah Palin to new heights and truly make her the cure for the disaster Obama.  All Governor Palin needs to do is campaign on this premise: Reverse everything the disaster Obama and his communists sidekicks in congress have done.
Below is the e-mail the DNC executive director Jen O'Malley Dillon sent:
Subject: Sarah Palin Lies
Friend --
A lot of folks use Facebook to stay in touch with friends and family. For Sarah Palin, it's a great way to spread lies about health insurance reform.  A few months back, Palin took to Facebook to declare that health reform would create "death panels," and drive private insurers out of business -- and nonpartisan factcheck sites and the independent Congressional Budget Office debunked those lies.

But that didn't stop Sarah Palin. She's back with a new Facebook note claiming that reform will raise costs on families and drive up deficits. Unfortunately for her, even the conservative "Tax Foundation" says those claims are false.  So, this week, we're calling out Sarah Palin and taking to Facebook to debunk her lies on the very same pages she's using to spread them.
Call 'em out: Sarah Palin. Watch the video, make a call, spread the word on Facebook:  www.deocrates.org/CallOutPalin  We've put together a short Facebook note cataloging just some of Sarah Palin's many distortions and the facts that prove her wrong. But we need your help to "share" the note and make sure she doesn't get away with her outrageous lies.
If Sarah Palin wants to spread lies on Facebook, we'll call her out in the very same place. And when thousands of folks share our note and expose her lies, it will be clear that those who lie about reform will be held accountable -- no matter where they spread their misinformation. The more we push back with the truth, the more Sarah Palin and others like her will have to think twice before they promote lies, and the less they'll be able to derail progress.
Even if you don't have a Facebook account, you can still help us call out Sarah Palin. Visit Call 'em Out: Sarah Palin to watch our video detailing her lies and to call Palin's political organization and say, "stop lying."
Rising health care costs are crushing American families and squeezing small businesses. Reform will reign in costs and cut the deficit in the long run -- that's why it's so important, and why Sarah Palin's lies are so malicious.
We're not letting it stand. We're calling Sarah Palin out:  www.deocrates.org/CallOutPalin
Keep up the fight (fellow communists),
Jen

Governor Sarah Palin: Great Unifier Of The GOP

Our good friends at NewsMax and Phil Brennan wrote great piece on Governor Palin: Sarah Palin Is A Unifier for the Republican Party
When it comes to writing about Sarah Palin, the media seems compelled to focus on 2012 and her prospects of being the Republican presidential candidate despite the fact that it is a couple of years out.

It's something like putting her into a box that's not to be opened for another 2 ½ years. In addition to marginalizing her, it ignores the key role she's going to play in the crucial congressional elections next year when all 435 House seats and a third of the Senate seats are up for grabs.

Unlike her media critics, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin fully grasps the significance of the outcome of those elections next year. Should the GOP capture control of the House in the 2010 elections, the threat to our nation's future posed by Barack Obama will be eliminated. He’ll be a lame duck for two long years.

[...]

It's apparent to me that Sarah Palin understands the pressing need for a unifying factor that will rally the voters around the Republican banner rather than around individual candidates. And I further believe that she recognizes that she herself is that unifying factor.

After all, it not her personal charm or her beauty, or her outspokenness that attracts large numbers of Americans. It is instead that the American people recognize her as unashamedly one of their number.  She's the woman next door, the one you meet at the grocery counter, an outgoing friendly neighbor whose head is screwed on straight and who views the world around her much in the way we ordinary folks do. It’s called common sense, unfortunately uncommon in the public square.

That, however, is not how the almost universally liberal media sees her.

To them she is a threat that must be faced and eliminated. She has a target on her back and their arrows are pointed at its center. She must be destroyed, her potential as a successful GOP presidential candidate utterly eliminated. Her candidacy must be strangled in the crib.  To the horror of her legion of leftist detractors, the more they attack her, the stronger she gets. She has a unique talent of recognizing opportunities to get her points across coupled with the knowledge of when and how to strike and when and how to retreat temporarily and tantalizingly from public view.

Take the case of her forthcoming book. It has yet to be released; nobody has the vaguest idea of what it is about; and sight unseen, it is already a runaway best-seller.  If she can market a book in this manner, marketing herself and her political philosophy will be a cinch.

Keep your eyes on her role in the 2010 elections. It will be a portent of things to come.

Palin Book: Feminists Jealous of Sarah's Rise

Paul Bedard wrote an interesting piece at his column Washington Whispers at USnews.com: Palin Book: Feminists Jealous of Sarah's Rise
on a new book about Sarah Palin.

Talk about timing. With former GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin readying the release of her own 432-page campaign tell-all, Going Rogue: An American Life, now would be the perfect time to pop out another Palin book, and that's exactly what Weekly Standard's Matthew Continetti has done with The Persecution of Sarah Palin.

With his 226-page defense of Palin and slap-down of the media coverage she has faced since being selected by Sen. John McCain as his 2008 veep, Continetti is likely to ride the next wave of Palin frenzy that will accompany her book release set for November 17. If you like Palin, it's a good read. If you don't, well, check it to see what the other side thinks of the potential 2012 presidential candidate. We won't review it here because Whispers just received the book earlier today. But here are some highlights:

— The press, duh, didn't like Palin and didn't fact-check all of its stories on her. Worse, writes Continetti, the press had it out for Palin because she didn't fit the image of an Ivy League-educated national candidate, just as former President George W. Bush didn't. "The left recoils at a certain swagger, a manner of speech, and a lack of cultural embarrassment that the two share. Neither Bush nor Palin mind the fact that they are not part of this country's cognoscenti. But until Palin showed up, one could have written off the liberal reaction to Bush as simply anti-Texan bias. That wasn't it, however. Palin proved that at its root the reaction to these folksy Western politicians is a form of anti-provincialism; revulsion toward people who do not aspire to adopt the norms, values, politics and attitudes of the Eastern cultural elite," he writes.

— McCain's aides messed up her debut and campaign. First, the book says that the McCain press office had no biographical information ready when Palin was picked. Not only had the campaign not done its homework to defend Palin, but it wasn't prepared for the media backlash. In their defense, aides note that had the campaign flooded the state with officials snooping for info on their veep pick, McCain's surprise would have been ruined. Continetti does cite some press tactics that worked, such as the anti-Obama "Celebrity" ad.

— Liberal-leaning feminists, especially comic Tina Fey, the 30 Rock star who portrayed Palin on Saturday Night Live, were jealous of Palin. "Palin's sudden global fame rankled those feminists whose own path to glory had been difficult. To them, Palin was less a female success story than she was the beneficiary of male chauvinism," writes Continetti. He holds out Fey and her TV character for special criticism. "It was telling that Fey should be the actress who impersonated Palin. The two women may look like each other, but they could not be more dissimilar. Each exemplifies a different category of feminism. Palin comes from the I-can-do-it-all school. She is professionally successful, has been married for more than 20 years, and has a large and (from all outward appearances) happy family. And while Fey is also pretty, married, and has a daughter, the characters she portrays in films like Mean Girls and Baby Mama, and in television shows like 30 Rock, are hard-pressed eggheads who give up personal fulfillment—e.g., marriage and motherhood—in the pursuit of professional success," he writes. "On 30 Rock, Fey, who is also the show's chief writer and executive producer, plays Liz Lemon, a television comedy writer modeled on herself. Liz Lemon is smart, funny, and at the top of her field. But she fails elsewhere. None of her relationships with men works out. She wants desperately to raise a child but can find neither the time nor the means to marry or adopt. Lemon makes you laugh, for sure. But you also would be hard pressed to name a more unhappy person on American TV."

Palin Endorses Hoffman = Huge Donation Increase

Ed Morrissey, of Hotair.com, has just reported Doug Hoffman’s campaign is having a huge influx of donations within hours of her Facebook posting. Governor Palin made the post at 8:35 pm and in less then 10 hours his campaign contributions have nearly doubled. Funny how the left keeps screaming she is irrelevant.

Just how effective has Sarah Palin’s intervention in the NY23 special election been?  Douglas Hoffman, the Conservative Party candidate that got Palin’s endorsement, raised $116,000 in a single day, according to a source within the campaign.  The source told me to refer back to Chris Cillizza’s coverage of the race at the Washington Post blog The Fix, which noted that Hoffman had raised $210,000 … over the course of a week.

Stacy McCain confirmed this with another source in the campaign.  He has a few updates as well on Democratic fundraising in the contest.

If nothing else, this confirms the power that Palin has with the conservative base.  She can raise money hand over fist, even with some considerable negatives with other constituencies.  If Hoffman winds up winning this election, Palin will become a very popular woman in the 2010 campaign, especially in Blue Dog Democrat districts where conservatives have grown appalled by the direction of a Democratic Congress.  Even if he doesn’t, this has been an impressive demonstration of influence and power.

Sarah Palin: Support Doug Hoffman, 23rd Congressional District Of NY

The people of the 23rd Congressional District of New York are ready to shake things up, and Doug Hoffman is coming on strong as Election Day approaches! He needs our help now.

The votes of every member of Congress affect every American, so it's important for all of us to pay attention to this important Congressional campaign in upstate New York. I am very pleased to announce my support for Doug Hoffman in his fight to be the next Representative from New York's 23rd Congressional district. It's my honor to endorse Doug and to do what I can to help him win, including having my political action committee, SarahPAC, donate to his campaign the maximum contribution allowed by law.

Our nation is at a crossroads, and this is once again a "time for choosing."

The federal government borrows, spends, and prints too much money, while our national debt hits a record high. Government is growing while the private sector is shrinking, and unemployment is on the rise. Doug Hoffman is committed to ending the reckless spending in Washington, D.C. and the massive increase in the size and scope of the federal government. He is also fully committed to supporting our men and women in uniform as they seek to honorably complete their missions overseas.

And best of all, Doug Hoffman has not been anointed by any political machine.

Doug Hoffman stands for the principles that all Republicans should share: smaller government, lower taxes, strong national defense, and a commitment to individual liberty.

Political parties must stand for something. When Republicans were in the wilderness in the late 1970s, Ronald Reagan knew that the doctrine of "blurring the lines" between parties was not an appropriate way to win elections. Unfortunately, the Republican Party today has decided to choose a candidate who more than blurs the lines, and there is no real difference between the Democrat and the Republican in this race. This is why Doug Hoffman is running on the Conservative Party's ticket.

Republicans and conservatives around the country are sending an important message to the Republican establishment in their outstanding grassroots support for Doug Hoffman: no more politics as usual.

You can help Doug by visiting his official website below and joining me in supporting his campaign:

Going on The Oprah Show is clearly a very smart decision by the best selling author in the country, Governor Palin.  She is not going on to sell her book but rather to reach and meet a very large audience of women.  Most Americans know very little about Sarah Palin except what the idiot liberal Obama blowing media has told them.  All Sarah Palin has to do is sit down with Oprah and have a normal conversation and millions will see she is a regular person.  It is a smart first move and I expect Sarah Palin will have millions of new fans.   Oprah also realizes the huge increase in ratings that will come with Sarah Palin coming on the show.  Oprah's rating have been very bad and this will certainly help.

Preliminary Report: Sarah Palin to speak at College of the Ozarks

This is a very very Preliminary Report: Sarah Palin to speak at College of the Ozarks

It has been reported Governor Sarah Palin will speak on patriotism, citizenship and civic engagement at College of the Ozarks at 7 p.m. Dec. 2 in the Keeter Gymnasium, a college news release said.  We should all wait for confirmation from Governor Palin's people.

The prelude to the Leonard B. and Edith Gittinger Community Convocation featuring Palin will begin at 6:30 p.m.

The convocation is free and open to the public, but tickets are required.

Those seeking tickets may call 690-2240. Tickets are limited, and they will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

“Sarah Palin is a great example of an individual who became involved in her small town community and whose efforts and success eventually placed her in the national spotlight,” said Sue Head, executive director of The Keeter Center for Character Education. “We are looking forward to hosting her at the college.”

Sarah Palin As The Next President Is Absolutely Impossible

On July 3rd, 2009, Sarah Palin resigned as Governor of Alaska, and nailed the following sign to her door:  “Men Wanted For Hazardous Journey. Small wages. Bitter cold. Long months of complete darkness. Constant danger. Safe return doubtful. Honor and recognition in case of success.”

This, the most famous newspaper advertisement ever penned, placed its original author, Sir Ernest Shackleton, in the position of having to select the crew for an Antarctic expedition from among the 5,000 men the ad brought to his office. Comparing Sara Palin to the greatest explorer in history might appear to stretch the limits of metaphorical license, even for an Irishwoman given to hyperbole. I contend, however, that it pales when compared to likening a revolutionary idealist with two weeks of Presidential experience, to Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Theresa, or Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. I believe that Sarah Palin, will be the next President of the United States, and that the secret to her success can, oddly enough, be found in characteristics she shares with one of the greatest Explorers of modern history, Sir Ernest Shackleton.

[...]

I sincerely believe that Sarah Palin possesses those same characteristics and that she will press forward, ignoring obstacles, inspiring her supporters and, as President, not let the Country “bloody die.”

It is obvious that the election of Sarah Palin as the next President is absolutely impossible. Not only is she consistently attacked and misrepresented in the media and by the majority of “opinion makers,” but even in the Republican Party, her own ship, she is considered something of an Jonah, better to be thrown to the sea. The Endurance is a perfect image of Sarah’s political career, as it sank beneath the weight of external belligerence and the unrelenting, grinding pressure of her opponents. Her prospects were also mangled by the internal betrayal of former supporters and promoters because of their desperate need to pin their own failures on a woman they underestimated and deemed expendable. Like Sir Ernest, one can literally picture Sarah surveying the wreckage, and it is precisely in this moment that we see her leadership emerge.

Sarah knows what the “Tea Party Patriots” know. Only a real conservative will reach the harbor of the White House, if there is to be a new administration in 2012. The concepts of love of God, love of Country, love of family, love or our troops and commitment the War on Terror, fearless denunciation of Communist China’s human-rights violations, faith in our free-market, faith in American self-reliance and independence were not “slogans” she used to get a job in Washington, but deeply held personal values. These values are the future of our country. Sarah, without a moment wasted on disdain for those who tell her that her endeavor to bring these values to the White House is futile, has already started dragging the lifeboats of American conservative principles across the frozen wasteland of a triumphant Marxist administration, and her own virtually-emasculated Party that wants nothing to do with her cargo of gritty, Reagan conservatism.

[...]

One day during the campaign, Sarah got off the bus, went into Wal-Mart and bought store-brand diapers and a toy for her little boy with Downs Syndrome. I compare this to Michelle Obama, in numerous Antoinettian vignettes, wearing five hundred dollar sneakers to serve soup, shutting down the Beltway to put organic lettuce in her market-basket, and donning a New York fashion-week belt to commiserate with women who could not afford Tylenol for their children. While the elites wrote Sarah off as unsophisticated, the ordinary people reveled in her leading by example, sensing a simple life that embodied her spoken principles.

It is impossible that any political figure can withstand the battering from elements, both external and internal, that Sarah Palin has endured, yet unlike Shackleton’s ship, she remains. Like Sir Ernest, she continues, she follows her own compass. I am looking forward with veritable glee to the next months. Constantly given up for lost, she will continue the “hazardous journey.” Fellow Republicans will look, not only to GM (Goebbels Media,) but to their own moth-eaten, comfortable Admirals, back in the officers’ club, and shake their heads at her “doubtful safe return.” They will have their wigs powered and raise money for both the plastic and the absurd chameleons we, a dozen times, cringed to call “leader,” and only tolerated as the lesser of two evils. At their rallies, all two hundred compromisers will take a pinch of snuff and congratulate themselves that they have someone that will not upset the independents and the moderates.

Meanwhile, the people will answer Sarah’s advertisement and sign on for the “hazardous journey.” She will continue to draw thousands of willing “crew members”, as she did during the 2008 Campaign, when venues needed to be enlarged to accommodate those who wished to express their support for all she represented. Of course, we hope that the leaders of the GOB will get off the ice before it is too late. Hopefully they will not be left behind to sink into the oblivion of history because of petty jealousy or because they were so ignorant of what the “Tea Party Radicals,” truly want. It will be good if they have enough love of country to leave their personal effects at camp, get on board and help row.

“As for the honor and recognition in case of success,” the only honor and recognition we hope for, in supporting this intrepid woman, is that of our children and all those who will benefit, because of Sarah Palin’s leadership, from the safe harbor of a truly free America.

Hotair.com 2012 Poll: Sarah Palin 63%, Cheney 13%, Romney 12% & Huckabee 8%

Is it odd how anti-Palin polls pop-up all over the MSM?  The few and infrequent polls that are less favorable to Governor Palin always seem to be big news.  The reality is over 90% of the many 2012 polls show she is the front runner.  Michelle Malkin’s Hotair.com offered the latest Poll on 2012 & Governor Palin with Sarah leading with 63% of the 4,538 votes cast.
Another important question is, has HarperCollins issued a 2nd edition of Going Rogue: An American Life?  Boarders, Walmart, Amazon and Barnes & Noble have Sarah Palin Going Rogue: An American Life Covers displayed throughout many of there stores.  They all are also sending out e-mails offering Going Rogue at special prices in an effort to undercut each other.

Walmart Vs Amazon Price War - Over Sarah Palin’s Going Rogue

Wall Street Journal:
"Walmart launched a brash price war against Amazon.com Inc. on Thursday, saying it would sell 10 hotly anticipated new books for just $10 apiece through its online site.  That was just the beginning.

Hours later, Amazon matched the $10 price, squaring off in a battle for low-price and e-commerce leadership heading into the crucial holiday shopping season. Wal-Mart soon fired back with a promise to drop its prices to $9 by Friday morning -- and made good on that vow by early evening Thursday."

Walmart:
The splashy move to discount pre-orders of popular books such as Stephen King's "Under the Dome" and Sarah Palin's "Going Rogue" was part of a larger strategy to establish Walmart.com as the biggest and cheapest online retailer.

"If there is going to be a 'Wal-Mart of the Web,' it is going to be Walmart.com," said Walmart.com CEO Raul Vazquez in an interview. "Our goal is to be the biggest and most visited retail Web site."

Wal-Mart's $10 promotion applies to the top 10 books coming out in November but the company is also selling 200 best-sellers for 50% of their list price.

Dean Koontz, whose soon-to-be released novel "Breathless" is being discounted to $10 from $28, said that he thinks the discounting may prove a good thing for the authors involved.

"Any time people are fighting over your work it's a good thing, especially when you've worked all those years hoping it would be fought over," he said. "I don't think this is going to be a long-term thing. Rather, it sounds like a promotional strategy designed to call attention to Wal-Mart's decision to enter the digital marketplace more heartily than in the past."

Sarah Palin Easily Wins 3rd Politico Poll Over Obama & Biden

Once again Sarah Palin easily wins Politico’s Poll:  Which politician would you like to follow around for a day?   With 28,540 votes cast Governor Palin took 57% of the votes compared to 23% for the disaster Obama and 2% for the buffoon Biden.
Back in early August and September Governor Palin also easily handled her GOP counterparts on 2 separate Politico polls and also a huge Newsmax poll with over 600,000 votes cast.  In the August Politico Poll Governor Palin received 46% to Governor Romney’s 25% and Speaker Gingrich’s 6%.  Politico’s September poll Governor Palin also dominated with 55%, Governor Romney 15% & Governor Huckabee 10%.  This poll had  a total of 24,046 votes were cast.
The largest and most comprehensive poll, by Newsmax, Governor Palin did even better.  She received an overall 83% approval rating and 78% said they would support her if she runs in 2012.  By all accounts, Governor Palin is the most popular GOP politician in the country and the front runner for 2012.  Not a single other candidate could fill a stadium nor out sell every author in the country.  Within 8 hours of  announcing her upcoming book and 8 weeks before it is released the book will most likely call for a 2nd printing printing.   The disaster Obama could not even fill a stadium unless it was a coordinated effort with union help or a paid-to-be-there audience.   As we all saw with his the fake town hall meetings for Obamacare.
As Obama creates more poverty and makes the poor poorer Governor Palin seems to be doing everything correct.  She is in control of the health care debate and beating Obama at every turn.   The reality is Obama has no business being in The White House and she does.  Embarrassingly, Obama is being pushed around by the UN, Iran, Chavez, nearly every European leader and, of course, Governor Palin.   God help us all.

Sarah Palin: Doctors Will be 'Drafted' Under Public Option

Governor  Palin posted this article on her Facebook page: Doctors Will be 'Drafted' Under Public Option:
A respected medical specialist has carefully reviewed the healthcare reform bill in the U.S. House, and he declares that it would amount to a virtual "draft" of doctors into the government's "public option" health insurance program.

Dr. Russell Blaylock, a renowned neurosurgeon, book author and editor of the Blaylock Wellness Report published by Newsmax, also warns that "death panels" could lead to the rationing of medical care to the elderly and a "violation of the Hippocratic Oath."

In an exclusive Newsmax interview, Dr. Blaylock points to other ominous provisions in the bill, HR 3200, which he says would:

Severely discourage the readmission of patients to a hospital after they have been treated, and punish doctors and hospitals if they do readmit them.  Require medical practitioners to document their dealings to the extent that they won't have enough time to adequately treat their patients. Jeopardize the confidentiality of patients' medical records, including psychiatric reports.

The Senate's version of healthcare reform is slated to be voted on by the Finance Committee on Tuesday. But the House bill has already been approved by several committees and is sure to play a major role in any conference by the House and Senate to reconcile the bills those bodies pass.

Newsmax.TV's Ashley Martella noted that under the House bill, physicians would be drafted into the public option, a provision Dr. Blaylock has earlier called "conscription."

This bill "is virtually a draft because it says all physicians are automatically in the public option unless they opt out, and the opt out mechanism will be later determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services," Dr. Blaylock said.
"Well, we don't know how difficult it will be for physicians to opt out. Will there be penalties, fines, taxes, etc.? Because that's all left up to the Secretary."

He added on that score: "One of the things that concerns the legal minds of this country is that any bill that contains arbitrary language can be interpreted after it's passed any way they want to. And in this bill, virtually every page gives arbitrary powers to the Secretary of Health and Human Services."

Blaylock warned that under the House bill, hospital readmissions will be very restricted.

"One of the things they targeted to save money was to punish hospitals and physicians if they readmit a patient within a month of them being treated in an emergency room," he said.

"The effect of that is going to be that doctors are not going to want to treat these patients, hospitals are not going to want to treat these patients. It's going to cost hospitals a considerable amount of money as well as the physicians in fines if a patient comes back readmitted.

"Now the people who are going to be readmitted are people with chronic illnesses, the elderly, the disabled. Those are the people who are going to have complications occur within that month period. And why should hospitals and physicians be punished for that?

"They're not going to want to treat these patients. They're going to want to refer them quickly to another facility. And that's one of the biggest problems we have, patients being bounced around."
Martella asked about a controversial provision in the bill for so-called end of life counseling, which critics have charged would set up "death panels."

"This caused a lot of controversy, on so-called death panels and whether this advanced healthcare planning was actually required," Dr. Blaylock said.

"But it says very specifically on pages 424 through 428 that these sessions will be part of the normal medical practice. Therefore it's not voluntary.

"So every patient of a certain age will have to undergo this counseling. And further, in really frightening language, this bill [stipulates] that the people doing the counseling will be specially trained and approved by the federal government. They'll supply films, brochures, pamphlets — the data the patients are being exposed to.

"If you look at a lot of this literature now, what it says is that these patients will be encouraged to end their life early rather than take extraordinary medical treatments.

"For instance, if you're 65, 70 years old and you have congestive heart failure, in their view you really should make the decision that you don't want any further treatment, that it would be best for you and your family.

"And if you couch it that way you can convince a lot of patients through guilt that they really shouldn't be spending the money that it's going to cost their family as well as the country at large. So this is a very dangerous precedent. This is a violation of the Hippocratic Oath...

Sarah Palin On Facebook: Save The Greenback Obama!

Sarah Palin Posted an article by Larry Kudlow, from The National Review, on her Facebook page:
We know that gold is soaring. And we know the dollar is slumping. But, did you know that year-to-date, while the S&P 500 is up 18% — a great showing, no doubt — gold is up even more? The precious metal is up 21%. In other words, measured in true, gold-backed purchasing power, stocks have really done nothing this year. Zip. It is most disappointing.
I try to be optimistic about better earnings, a stock-market rally, and economic recovery. And I’m sticking to my guns. But what we’re seeing right now is pretty darn close to what we witnessed in the 1970s — the rise in gold and inflation really cuts into the stock market. So what’s the way out?
Well for starters, we need a stable dollar to stop inflationary pressures. And we also need lower tax rates to spur the economy, help it grow, and reduce unemployment. I’ve been calling this the Mundell-Laffer supply-side solution, after Nobel Prize–winning economist Robert Mundell and my mentor, former Reagan advisor Arthur Laffer. It was put to work with great success nearly 30 years ago to stop stagflation. It also launched a 20-year bull-market recovery.
Put simply, the Mundell-Laffer model exercises monetary restraint to save the dollar — and low marginal tax rates for economic-growth incentives that benefit investors, risk takers, small businesses, and workers. Right now, for therapy, the Fed should begin moving excess cash from the economy, and they should raise their target rate. Take a page from the Reserve Bank of Australia’s playbook and move rates higher.
In addition, the Treasury ought to get out there and buy these unwanted dollars in the marketplace. Just go out there and bid for them. And they need to stop printing so much debt from Congress. All this massive spending and borrowing is killing us. We need to be slashing tax rates on large and small businesses. There’s just no better place to begin job creation. And leave the Bush tax cuts in place, for heaven’s sake.
This supply-side shock therapy would save the dollar. And it would put real long-term torque into the recovery.
We’re supposed to be in an era of post-partisanship. So in this spirit, I’d like to respectfully ask Obama and his economic team to give this plan a try. It worked for JFK. It also worked for Bill Clinton and Ronald Reagan. It can work for you as well.
The time has come to save the greenback and grow the economy, sir.
