TV Entertainment Media Companies ‘Instinctively’ know a winner when they see one and Sarah is a Massively Popular Political Media Star.
Sarah ROCKED not only the TV Entertainment House with her autobiography reading Duo with William Shatner on Conan O’Brien’s Tonight Show… Sarah rocked the Liberal and Moderate World as well. DANG!!!!!!
Her poetic mano a mano with Shatner was probably the first time since her GOP convention speech that she really connected with the broad centre of the electorate that judges politicians not so much on policies as on personality. And when I mean connected, I really mean connected. Not just showing a likable personality – funny, smart, willing to have a laugh at her own expense – but connecting at a more basic level; the level which defines what really makes people American. Because to most viewers, show business is partly what America is all about. And let’s be honest: when, if ever, do they get to see a politician who is perfectly at ease in the world of entertainment, who looks as happy on the Tonight Show reading funny excerpts from William Shatner’s autobiography as she does giving a speech at a party convention? If Gov. Palin can get a liberal television critic like David Zurawik to confess that:
- I think it is one of her better and funnier moments on TV. I love the bongo drums and bass reading Shatner gave her book, “Going Rogue,” but she comes back just as strong with bongo, bass and flute. I love it. Listen, there are a million things I do not like about Palin. But credit where credit is due, this is a nice, cool and comic touch for her “Going Rogue” media blitz. As light as this spot was, it gives me new respect for her.
Those who prop up a failing President and avoid Sarah do so at risk to their bottom line. All I can say is let the free market separate the smart from the dumb… it has been happening in the TV News arena… with NBC, CBS, ABC, MSNBC losing massively in market share as FOX News gains market share. We also see The New York Times sinking & bankrupt while the Wall Street Journal has become the largest newspaper in America.
Oprah’s coming Obama-Canonizing Christmas Special Obama-mercial will be interesting to assess after the reactions are in, tabulated and sifted.
Oprah Power did nothing to help Mr President in his bid to win the 2016 Olympics for Chicago. Chicago was the first candidate site to be eliminated with the award going to Rio.
Let’s face it… the Blush is off the Obama-Rose and we all know what furry creatures do when their ship takes on too much water… at least, those with an instinct for self-survival.
What America is slowly realizing is Obama is economically illiterate and there is something special about Sarah Palin. One of the things I have noticed is most of the attacks on Sarah Palin are an effort to protect Obama. Plus, the attacks are based on the media’s sales job (fraud) they perpetrated on America which was Obama the Messiah Sarah Palin dumb. Seeing Obama supporters/voters salivate and fawn over Obama is not only disturbing but demonstrates an enormous lapse in judgement. Conclusion, what ever Obama supporters do or say the opposite is correct.
